Yagi Yusei (八木勇征) is a Japanese singer and performer. He's a member of the group FANTASTICS. He was announced as member of the group in December 2017 after succeeding the VOCAL BATTLE AUDITION 5.
Biography
Yagi Yusei was born on May 6, 1997 in Tokyo, Japan.
When Yagi was a junior high school student, a friend of him, who has a guitar, asked Yagi to sing and he sang in public. He had opportunities and, at that time, he was impressed of the response he was getting, but he kept focusing on football during high school and college and he couldn't keep up with his dream to become an artist. However, when he was at college, he injured and couldn't play football for a while and thought this was the gate for him to pursue his dream, and he decided to audition to VOCAL BATTLE AUDITION 5.[1]
On December 20, 2017, it was announced on the TV show Sukkiri, that he was added as a member of FANTASTICS alongside Nakajima Sota, after succeeding the VOCAL BATTLE AUDITION 5.[2]

- He participated in the competition Best Body Japan 2016 and ended as 2nd place on the category Mister Best Body Super Model.
- He had an Instagram and Twitter accounts prior to the audition, when he deleted both accounts. On July 6, 2019, he created another Instagram account.
