"WON'T BE LONG" is a collaboration song between EXILE and the singer Koda Kumi. It was released on November 22, 2006 as the A-side of the collaboration single of the same title.

The song is a cover of the 1990 hit single of same name by Da Bubble Gum Brothers and it was the CM song of music.jp, dwango.jp and mu-mo.

This is the debut song of performer AKIRA in the group.

  • The song has three versions by the featured artists: two versions on Koda's album Black Cherry, titled as "WON'T BE LONG ~Black Cherry Version~" and "WON'T BE LONG ~Red Cherry Version~" and EXILE's version have the feature of NEVER LAND and it is included on the album EXILE EVOLUTION.
    • Both versions of the song by Koda Kumi only include her vocals, with the "Black Cherry Version" featuring a different arrangement while the "Red Cherry Version" uses the same arrangement as the collaboration version but with the lyrics being partially modified to change the male perspective of the original song to a female perspective.
    • As of July 2022, the collaboration version is yet to be included in an album.

EXILE EVOLUTION Version[]

On March 7, 2007, EXILE released a new version of the song as the track #7 of the group's fifth studio album EXILE EVOLUTION. Although without Koda Kumi's vocals, this version adds then-new member TAKAHIRO's vocals and features NEVER LAND.

On November 24, 2019, EXILE ATSUSHI and Koda Kumi released a 2019 rearranged cover version of the song digitally. This version was named "WON'T BE LONG -2019-" and features EXILE MAKIDAI as a member of PKCZ®.
