"THE MONSTER ~Someday~" is the thirtieth single of EXILE. It was released on April 15, 2009 in two editions.

"Someday", the lead song of the single, was used as the CM song of Toyota WISH, "THE NEXT DOOR" was used as the theme song of the video game Street Fighter IV, "Ai Subeki Mirai e" was used as the theme song of Chikyuu Gorgeous performance "Hoshi no Daichi ni Furu Namida", and the song "GENERATION", a new version of Nidaime J Soul Brothers' song of the same name sung by the four vocalists of the new line-up (ATSUSHI, TAKAHIRO, NESMITH and SHOKICHI), was used as ending theme song of their TV program EXILE GENERATION.

This is the debut single of former Nidaime J Soul Brothers' members KENCHI, KEIJI, TETSUYA, NESMITH, SHOKICHI, NAOTO and NAOKI.

Trivia[]

  • Eighth #1 single of the group.
  • A "Kodomo Version" of "Someday"'s music video and a music video of "Ai Subeki Mirai e" were later included on the group's seventh album Ai Subeki Mirai e.
  • The single was certified Platinum by RIAJ for the shipment of 250,000 CD copies, and Gold for selling above 100,000 copies digitally (in the PC distribution category).
