THE JET BOY BANGERZ from EXILE TRIBE is a Japanese dance & vocal boy group formed and managed by LDH JAPAN and signed to the record label Sony Music Associated Records.
THE JET BOY BANGERZ is part of the collective supergroups EXILE TRIBE and NEO EXILE, and composed of 10 members: 3 vocalists and 7 performers. While the group follows the classic LDH style with a vocal/performer system, its performers also take on the role of rappers. The group was formed through the second chapter of the iCON Z ~Dreams For Children~ audition from 2022 to 2023.
They made their major debut on August 23, 2023 with the single "Jettin'".
As of August 26, 2023, all seven performers of the group (all members except the vocalists) are part of dance crews competing in D.LEAGUE, Japan's first professional dance league, too.

2022[]
The formation of the group was announced on the November 13 episode of the TV program ~Yume no Audition Variety~ Dreamer Z, that broadcasted the progress of the iCON Z Second Chapter audition, as one of the three groups in order to compete for an imminent debut, being referred to as Group 3 at that time. The selected contestants for this group were Tanaka Show, Kuwahara Takumi, Kojima Taki, Sato Hinata, Ito Kounosuke, Nakamura Aoi, Sato Shigetora, Mark Aeron, Uhara Yuhi, Ishikawa Kota. Tanaka, Kuwahara, Kojima, Sato Hinata and Ito are part of D.LEAGUE, Nakamura, Sato Shigetora, Mark and Ishikawa were finalists from the first chapter of the iCON Z ~Dreams For Children~ audition, and Uhara is a member of DEEP SQUAD. In the same episode, Tanaka was appointed as the leader of the group.[1]
On the November 20 episode, it was announced that the group would be named THE JET BOY BANGERZ, and a demo version of their first original song titled "RAGING BULL" was revealed.[2]
On December 28, the group released the song "RAGING BULL" digitally as their concept song for the audition.
2023: Debut[]
On March 26, it was announced that the group will be making their major debut under Sony Music Associated Records on August 23, joining the EXILE TRIBE along with KID PHENOMENON and WOLF HOWL HARMONY.[3]
On May 31, in a joint livestream with KID PHENOMENON and WOLF HOWL HARMONY titled 21-nin Dai Shuugou! KID・JET・WOLF Nama Haishin SP (21人大集合！KID・JET・WOLF生配信SP), it was announced that the group's fandom name would be named "TEAM JETZ", and that they will be holding a new Musha Shugyo event titled THE JET BOY BANGERZ -iCON Z Musha Shugyo- from June 24 to July 17.[4][5][6]
On June 16, it was announced that their debut single would be titled "Jettin'", a new artist photo of the group was released, and more details about their Musha Shugyo were revealed.[7][8]
On August 23, the group made their official major debut with their first single "Jettin'", joining the EXILE TRIBE.[9]
On August 26, Sato Shigetora and Nakamura Aoi announced at the joint debut live event of the three iCON Z Second Chapter groups that they had both decided to join the D.LEAGUE dance team "SEPTENI RAPTURES" for the D.LEAGUE 23-24 SEASON, making all seven performers of THE JET BOY BANGERZ (except the vocalists) D-Leaguers too.[10][11][12]
On October 15, it was announced that THE JET BOY BANGERZ would hold the free live event titled JET ENGINE across Japan, with the first set of events being held from November 3 to 23. It was also revealed that the group would be performing new songs at the event.[13]
On November 19, the group was scheduled to perform at "THE SHOW LIVE in TOKYO", a live event of the South Korean music program THE SHOW, which would be streamed to countries around the world and broadcast in Korea at a later date.[14][15] However, on October 28, it was announced that the event would be cancelled after repeated discussions and adjustments with the staff and related parties due to difficulties in holding the event.[16][17]
On November 29, the title track of their first EP, "PHOTOGENIC", was pre-released digitally.
On December 3, they performed at a 2-day live event titled "D.U.N.K. Showcase in KYOCERA DOME OSAKA", which is part of SKY-HI×NTV's large-scale music project D.U.N.K. -DANCE UNIVERSE NEVER KILLED-.[18][19]
On December 9, THE JET BOY BANGERZ appeared as a guest at EXILE's first overseas solo live EXILE LIVE 2023 in TAIPEI.[20][21]
2024[]
On January 31, the group released their first EP PHOTOGENIC.[22]
On February 19, THE JET BOY BANGERZ' official fanclub opened.[23]
On April 14, they performed at "The Performance", a music festival held to commemorate TV Asahi's 65th anniversary which brings together artists from Japan and South Korea.[24][25]
On June 29 and July 6, the group performed at the collaborative live event series NEXT VIRAL ARTIST.[26]
On July 24, the group released their second EP What Time Is It?.[27][28]
On November 20, they released their third EP UNBREAKABLE.[29]
2025[]
On February 19, THE JET BOY BANGERZ will release their first studio album JET BOY.[30]

- The name of the group means "a group of noisy personalities who get together and burst into flames like a jet engine".
- The group's fandom name is named "TEAM JETZ" (チーム ジェッツ). The name "contains the thought of fans uniting into one with the THE JET BOY BANGERZ members who "form a group of noisy personalities and burn like jet engines", and becoming soaring wings and burning raw power for the group to achieve great ambitions".[32]
