Sawamoto Natsuki (澤本夏輝), also known by his nickname Sawanatsu (
Prior to joining the group he was part of the EXPG trainee team EXILE GENERATIONS.
Early Life[]
Sawamoto Natsuki was born on January 19, 1994 in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. He has a younger brother.[1]
He joined a local dance school when he was 4 years old after his parents encouraged him to do so as he used to dance while watching TV since before he could remember.[2][3] In elementary school, he also played soccer, but in junior high school, he decided to focus solely on dancing and switched to a different dance school. "I made more dance friends, performed in contests and events, and enjoyed dancing more and more."[4][5][3]
In high school, he gave dance lessons at the dance school he was attending himself after his instructor had asked him if he wanted to help out. "I had always dreamed of moving to Tokyo to study dance after graduating from high school, so I wanted to gain as much experience as possible before then. I learned a little about my own dance style and how to communicate it to others by structuring my students' lessons and staging their recitals."[6] However, he injured his knee, had surgery and was unable to perform for a while. After graduating in 2012, he moved to Tokyo to pursue his dream of becoming a professional dancer. At first, he was working part-time while hoping to become a back dancer in the future.[4][2][5][3]
Then, at the age of 18, he started attending EXPG Tokyo, which was a turning point in his life.[7] In 2014, he participated as a support dancer in the Sandaime J Soul Brothers LIVE TOUR 2014 "BLUE IMPACT". This experience led him to change his goals and he decided to become an artist.[4][5][2][3]

2016[]
In 2016, Sawamoto joined the trainee group EXILE GENERATIONS and on December 29 in the same year, he was announced as a member of the performance team FANTASTICS.
2018[]
On December 5, he debuted in FANTASTICS with the release of their first single "OVER DRIVE".
2023[]
On April 7, he started a corner titled Sawa Saga Shokudou in "Fit ECRU", an information newspaper published by Saga Shimbun, proposing recipes using Saga's ingredients.[8]
Personal Life[]

On April 6, 2022, it was announced that he, Kimura Keito and Yagi Yusei had been diagnosed with COVID-19. As a result, the BACK TO THE MEMORIES Part 2 performances scheduled to be held in Tokyo from April 8 to April 14 were cancelled.[9][10][11]

- Describes himself as a "free spirit" and says that he is "conscious of looking at the whole picture and maintaining balance" when working as a group.[4]
- According to Sekai, he often sees Sawamoto taking the initiative in teaching the vocalists (dance) when they are practicing alone.[4][15]
- According to Sato Taiki, he is always ready to teach choreography with passion.[16]
- Describes himself as calm and collected. However, his members describe him as "the sexy one" in the group.[16]
- The music of the Black Eyed Peas is the reason he became interested in Hip-Hop and dance.[17]
- During his time as a student at EXPG Tokyo, his dance instructor was Sekai and his classmates included Sato Taiki and Kimura Keito.[4]
- Started focusing on hip-hop dance in the middle of elementary school. However, since he had taken jazz lessons before, he "always tries to dance beautifully" even today.[4][5]
- According to himself, his performance is characterized by "a supple charm that is carefully displayed down to the tips of his fingers".[4]
- Even before the formation of FANTASTICS, he had often performed together with Seguchi Leiya, Hori Natsuki, Kimura Keito and Nakao Shota.[4]
- Very skilled at cooking and enjoys it very much.[7]
- Has a regular TV segment on farming and cooking.[7]
- His mother was a cook at a nursery school, so cooking has been very close to him since childhood. She also gives him advice on cooking.[7]
- It wasn't until he moved to Tokyo and started living alone that he started cooking for himself more often. Additionally, he was working part-time at a restaurant at the time, so he learned a lot from there. Before, he was not very good at cooking, but as he was working, he gradually became better and started to enjoy it. Since then, cooking at home has become less of a chore and more of a pleasure for him.[7]
- Is also particular about arranging food, and uses restaurant dishes he finds interesting as a reference for serving.[7]
- Often cooked for the members when they were living in a dormitory together.[7]
- Likes watching farm work and has always been interested in ingredients and wanted to know how vegetables are produced.[7]
- Had many part-time jobs after he moved to Tokyo, most of them were in restaurants, such as pasta restaurants, sushi restaurants, and curry restaurants.[6]
- Worked part-time to pay for living expenses and lessons. He didn't want to depend on his parents to pursue his dream.[6]
- Eats what he wants to eat without any restrictions. "[...] For me, eating is what makes my life worth living."[7]
- A big eater and not picky when it comes to food.[18]
- Likes sweets, such as cream puffs with both custard and whipped cream, soft pudding, etc., and chocolate eclairs.[7]
- The food he dislikes is pak choi. Also used to not like fruits, but that changed after he started living alone. His aunt is a farmer and often sends him fruit like apples and watermelons.[7]
- Natto (fermented soybeans), eggs and frozen broccoli are some of his favorite cooking ingredients.[7]
- Admires Miura Daichi and s**t kingz.[2]
- Listens to all genres of music. His favorite artist is SIRUP.[19]
- Is interested in fashion and would like to work as a model someday. He'd also like to be able to decide on the FANTASTICS' costumes in the future.[2]
- Loves dogs and wants to get a dog when he gets settled.[19]
- Likes training at the gym.[20]
- Is very athletic, but bad at swimming.[21]
- The first CD he ever bought was "Monkey Business" by the Black Eyed Peas.[22]
- Likes watching The Walking Dead.[2]
- Would like to live in Los Angeles if he could.[5]
- Has a close friendship with Sato Taiki.[4]
- HIRO told him before his debut, "Sawanatsu is nervous, so you should smile", and since then, he has been conscious of smiling on a daily basis.[23]
