PKCZ® (ピーケーシーズ), an acronym for "Primal Knowledge ChamberZ", is a Japanese creative unit formed and managed by LDH JAPAN and signed to the record label LDH Records.

The unit was founded in 2014 by the request of EXILE HIRO. They are producing music, fashion, art and events, and are active worldwide, collaborating with international artists such as Afrojack, Janet Jackson, SNOOP DOGG, METHOD MAN, YULTRON, and CL.[1][2]

2014[]

In 2014, EXILE HIRO, EXILE MAKIDAI, VERBAL (m-flo), and DJ DARUMA formed a new creative unit to create new values by mixing various genres such as music, fashion, art, and culture.

2016[]

On September 22, the unit debuted with their first digital single "BREAK THE BORDER".

In the same year, they held solo overseas performances in Taiwan, South Korea, and the Philippines.

2017[]

On April 28, they released their second digital single "PLAY THAT" featuring Tosaka Hiroomi, Crystal Kay and CRAZYBOY.

In summer of the same year, they performed at the world's largest outdoor EDM festival "Tomorrowland" (Belgium) and the dance music festival "ULTRA SINGAPORE 2017" (Singapore).

On August 2, they released their first studio album 360° ChamberZ featuring a total of 14 artists.[3]

2018[]

On February 23, the unit released their third digital single "BOW DOWN" as a collaboration with SNOOP DOGG and Korean-American track maker YULTRON while also featuring CRAZYBOY. This marked their first release from an international record label, in this case Dutch record label Spinnin'/TRAP CITY.[4]

2019[]

On June 6, they released their fourth digital single "CUT IT UP" featuring Korean artist CL and DJ AFROJACK under the American record label 88rising.

2020[]

On October 31, during the LIVE×ONLINE INFINITY HALLOWEEN concert, it was announced that Shirahama Alan would be joining the unit as a new member.[5]

2021[]

On January 10, the unit released their first digital single with the new lineup and 5th digital single overall, "ALL OR NOTHING". The song was used as the official theme song for D.LEAGUE, Japan's first professional dance league established in 2020.

On March 5, the unit released their 6th digital single "GLAMOROUS", for which Shirahama Alan took the position of a vocalist for the first time.

On August 23, they released their 7th digital single titled "Bonnou Kaihou Undou". At the time of the release, it was announced that DJ JOMMY had joined the crew as a new member, and the unit began its second chapter of activities with a new five-member lineup.

2022[]

On May 12, 2022, the unit released their 8th digital single "Mou Ii Jyan".

On December 14, they released their 9th digital single "T.O.K.Y.O.". It is an official answer song to DA PUMP's version of the song "U.S.A.".[6][7]

2023[]

On March 25, the unit released their 10th digital single "Gravity", which served as the theme song of the digital drama Love Death Match.[8][9][10]

From June 21 to November 13, they held their first solo live tour PKCZ® Kanshasai 2023 ~100 Man Kai no Arigatou~, fulfilling their pledge to do so if the music video of the song "T.O.K.Y.O." receives over 1 million views in 2 weeks after its release.[11][12]

On October 10, the unit released their 11th digital single and first double A-side single, "HARD LUCK MADNESS / Gekkabijin", before releasing it as their first Music Card single on November 15.[13][14]

2024[]

From June 20 to August 23, they will hold their second solo live tour PKCZ® Kanshasai 2024 ~Put Your Hearts Up, Everybody Jump Up~, preceded by the release of their first digital album Put Your Hearts Up, Everybody Jump Up on June 1.[15][16]
