Maki Daisuke (眞木大輔), better known by his stage names MAKIDAI and EXILE MAKIDAI, is a Japanese performer, actor and DJ. He is a member of PKCZ®, a retired member of EXILE and a former member of RATHER UNIQUE. For his solo career as a DJ, he uses the stage name DJ MAKIDAI.

MAKIDAI started his career in 1994 as member of the group BABY NAIL, alongside Matsumoto Toshio and ÜSA. In 1996, the group disbanded and in 1998 he joined J Soul Brothers.

On December 31, 2015, he (alongside Matsumoto Toshio and ÜSA) retired from his position as performer of EXILE.

Personal Life

Relationships

In autumn 2013, several tabloids reported that MAKIDAI was in a relationship with British-Japanese television personality Becky. According to the reports, they became a couple after spending a lot of time together due to their close friendship with HIRO and his wife Ueto Aya. However, both sides denied those claims, stating that they didn't even know each other's contact information.

On January 1, 2019, MAKIDAI announced that he had married a non-celebrity woman 16 years younger than him on New Year's Eve 2018 after three years of dating.

On October 16, 2020, he revealed that his first child, a boy, had been born healthy and safely a day prior.

On April 12, 2023, MAKIDAI announced that his second child, another boy, had been born on the same day.
