MA55IVE THE RAMPAGE (pronounced MASSIVE THE RAMPAGE) is the first sub-unit from THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE formed in 2019 and debuted in 2020. The unit consists of five performers who, in the unit, have the position of rappers.

2019[]
On February 6, an unit made by the performers LIKIYA, Kamiya Kenta, Yamamoto Shogo, Urakawa Shohei and Suzuki Takahide made its first appearance on THE RAMPAGE LIVE TOUR 2019 "THROW YA FIST" with a performance of an original song titled "Determined". Although, the unit was still unnamed during that time.
2020[]
On February 5, with the start of THE RAMPAGE LIVE TOUR 2020 "RMPG", it was announced that the unit would be named MA55IVE THE RAMPAGE, and the release of the song "Determined" for February 6.[1]
On May 27, the unit was scheduled to perform as opening act of the EXILE SHOKICHI vs CrazyBoy "KING & KING" concert at Yokohama Arena in a battle with the rappers of BALLISTIK BOYZ,[2] but on April 8, the concert was cancelled.
On December 2, MA55IVE released their second digital single "No.1".
2021[]
On July 17, the unit released their third digital single "Drip Drop".
2022[]
On June 3, they released their first Music Card single titled "5". Prior to the release, the single was pre-released digitally on June 1.
From June 3 to July 12, the unit participated in the joint live tour THE SURVIVAL 2022 ~BALLISTIK BOYZ vs MA55IVE~ × PSYCHIC FEVER alongside BALLISTIK BOYZ and PSYCHIC FEVER.
On November 5, MA55IVE released their fourth digital single and second Music Card single "LIT".[3]
2023[]
On May 26, they released their fifth digital single "Yume wa Yume no Mama" before releasing it as their third Music Card single on May 27.[4]
On September 13, the unit released their first CD single "INVADERZ".[5][6]
2024[]
On March 11, it was announced that the unit's new song "Wild Boy" had been selected as the opening theme for the TV anime Viral Hit which would start airing in April.[7][8] The song was later released as a digital single on April 17.[9]
On May 3 and 4, they performed at the live event "BEAT AX Vol.3" alongside BALLISTIK BOYZ and PSYCHIC FEVER.[10]
On August 14, MA55IVE released their first studio album M5V, including the song "Gerbera" which served as the theme song of the movie Tada, Anata wo Rikai Shitai starring member Suzuki Takahide and was pre-released digitally on February 21.[11][12][13][14][15]
From August 16 to August 28, the unit held their first tour titled MA55IVE THE RAMPAGE 1st LIVE TOUR 2024 "M5V".[16]
On December 13, it was announced that the unit's new song "MY PRIDE" had been selected as the theme song for the drama RED BLUE, which would start airing on December 18.[17] The song was later released as a digital single on December 16.[18]
On December 24, the unit's new song "Illumination" was released digitally.[19]
2025[]
On April 30, the unit released their second CD single "REEEMINDER!" as the first release of their project MA55IVE UNION.[20]
From September 18 to October 30, the unit will hold their second tour titled MA55IVE THE RAMPAGE 2nd LIVE TOUR 2025 "M5V" ~?????~.[21]
In the summer, MA55IVE will release their second studio album as part of their project MA55IVE UNION.[22]
