HiGH&LOW THE WORST X (pronounced HiGH&LOW THE WORST CROSS) is the seventh original movie of the HiGH&LOW franchise. It premiered on September 9, 2022 in theaters in Japan.

It is the fourth work of the new storyline in the HiGH&LOW series called HiGH&LOW THE WORST, which is a collaboration with Takahashi Hiroshi's "CROWS" and "WORST" manga series and focuses on the story of the students of "Oya High School".

The DVD and Blu-ray of the movie was released on January 25, 2023.

Description

Character Overview

Oya High School, the "O" of SWORD. It is the most dangerous delinquent high school in the SWORD district, divided into a full-time system and a part-time system. Hanaoka Fujio (Kawamura Kazuma), the head of the full-time system, visits Suzuran All-Boys' High School in Toaru City (Toaru-shi) in search of Raoh, the strongest man in the school who is surrounded by many legends.

At the same time, the delinquents in SWORD are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to take the head of Oya High....

Among them, Amagai Kohei (Miyama Ryoki), the head of Senomon Technical High School also known as "Blood Gate" for its crimson red school uniform, acquires the power of the most powerful man, Suzaki Ryo (Nakamoto Yuta), and furthermore, he adds Kamasaka High School and Ebara Commercial High School, which also aim for the head of Oya High School, to his umbrella, establishing a "Three Schools Alliance" and expanding its power.

Takajo Tsukasa (Yoshino Hokuto) and Todoroki Yosuke (Maeda Goki) of Oya High are the first to detect the suspicious activities of the "Three Schools Alliance"... but the time comes abruptly. At last, the hunt for Oya High School by the three schools alliance begins.

Catching them by surprise, the students of Oya High are suddenly attacked. Under overwhelmingly disadvantageous odds, can Fujio, who has been leading the way with a single fist, protect his friends who are being crushed one after another!?

And then, Fujio challenges Suzaki, the strongest assassin of the three school alliance, to a battle for the top spot! What will Fujio's fist say? The battle to determine the real number one begins now.

• The movie was first announced on December 14, 2021, at the THE RAMPAGE LIVE TOUR 2021 "REBOOT" ~WAY TO THE GLORY~ of THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE.
• To commemorate the release of the movie, a "HiGH&LOW THE WORST X" Unveiling Preview & PREMIUM LIVE SHOW was held at Yokohama Arena on August 24 and 25, 2022.
• Nakamoto Yuta (NCT 127's YUTA) was casted by Japanese-Korean entertainment company HIAN, a subsidiary of LDH JAPAN, for the movie. His role as "Suzaki Ryo" is his debut as an actor.
• Mikami Henry Daichi, a professional martial artist, made his acting debut as "Raoh" in the movie.
• For several roles in this movie, an internal audition within LDH JAPAN was held.
• On August 24, 2022, it was announced that Shison Jun would reprise his role as "Ueda Sachio" for a special appearance in the movie.
• The movie was one out of 26 Japanese films with box office revenues of 1 billion yen or more in 2022. Out of the 26 films, it ranked #22 with a box office revenue of 1.14 billion yen.
• The DVD/Blu-ray release of the movie is the first in the HiGH&LOW franchise that includes English & Korean subtitles.
