HiGH&LOW THE RED RAIN is the second original movie and the first spin-off title of the HiGH&LOW franchise. It focuses on the "Amamiya Brothers" and was released on October 8, 2016 in theaters in Japan.
On April 5, 2017, the movie was released on DVD and Blu-ray.
Description[]
The older brother, Amamiya Masaki (TAKAHIRO), always makes his younger brother laugh with innocence, while the younger brother, Amamiya Hiroto (Tosaka Hiroomi), never shows his emotions on his face. Although they are opposites, they are tied together by an invisible bond. They have an eldest brother, Amamiya Takeru (Saitoh Takumi), whom they respect from the bottom of their hearts. The three brothers lost their parents when they were young, and the bond between them is so strong that Takeru tells his younger brothers, "Use your fists to protect what is important to you." One year ago, however, he suddenly disappeared from their lives. Since then, the brothers have been searching for him. Once again, the anniversary of their parents' deaths comes around. Masaki and Hiroto visit the family grave, hoping that Takeru will appear. However, they are met by a mysterious girl, Naruse Aika (Yoshimoto Miyu), who holds a clue to their brother's whereabouts. Why did Takeru disappear, leaving Masaki and Hiroto behind? As the truth unravels one after another in the pursuit of Takeru's whereabouts, the secrets hidden in the Amamiya brothers' past are revealed. What is the fate of the three brothers?
