Goto Takuma (後藤拓磨), is a Japanese performer. He is a member of the group THE RAMPAGE.

He participated in the GLOBAL JAPAN CHALLENGE, but didn't get selected.

Early Life

Goto Takuma was born on December 4, 1998, in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. He has a younger brother and a younger sister.

According to himself, he was "the type of kid who couldn't find his dream", but when he was in the 4th grade of elementary school, he saw EXILE performing "Ti Amo" on TV and started to aspire to become an artist. As the first step, Goto decided to participate in an audition for Gekidan EXILE, and when he learned that there was a dance screening with "Choo Choo TRAIN" as the theme song, he started attending a dance school in his hometown as preparation.[1][2] After learning the basics of dance, Goto decided to try his hand at dancing more seriously by becoming a student of EXPG Osaka while he was still in elementary school.[2]

Career

In late 2013, Goto participated in the GLOBAL JAPAN CHALLENGE to become part of PROJECT TARO, but was unsuccessful in this audition. However, he was selected as a candidate for a new EXILE TRIBE group called THE RAMPAGE. After completing the group's first musha shugyo, Goto was confirmed as an official member on September 12, 2014.

Goto made his major debut in THE RAMPAGE on January 25, 2017, with the group's first single "Lightning".

In early 2020, Goto paired up with Hasegawa Makoto to design a pair of sneakers for a THE RAMPAGE×K·SWISS collaboration.[3]
