Fujiwara Itsuki (藤原樹) is a Japanese performer, actor and choreographer. He is a member of the groups THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE and In The BLOOD EYES.

He participated in the EXILE PERFORMER BATTLE AUDITION but didn't make to the finals. Prior to his audition, he was part of the EXPG trainee team EXILE GENERATIONS and a support member of GENERATIONS.

Early Life

Fujiwara Itsuki was born on October 20, 1997, in Yahatanishi Ward, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. He is a fraternal triplet alongside two sisters with him being the firstborn of the three. Additionally, he has a 3rd sister who is 5 years older than them.

Fujiwara started dancing when he was in the second grade of elementary school. At that time, his mother pushed him and his triplet sisters to attend the dance school that his older sister attended even though he hesitated at first: "My triplet sisters started going to a dance school and I was forced to learn. I didn't like it at first, but when I stood in the hall at a recital, I realized that I wanted to dance on a bigger stage." As he experienced the training, he developed a true interest in dance, and after he accompanied his family to one of EXILE's concerts at Fukuoka Dome in 6th grade of elementary school, he began to dream of becoming an artist.

For this reason, he persuaded his family to be allowed to attend the newly established EXPG Fukuoka branch. While taking lessons about three times a week after school, he quickly became a back dancer for EXILE as a scholarship student due to his high level of skills. For example, he participated in the EXILE LIVE TOUR 2009 "THE MONSTER" as a kids dancer.

Career

2011

In 2011, when he was in junior high school, Fujiwara became part of the trainee group EXILE GENERATIONS and was added as a support member for GENERATIONS at the end of the year. As a result, he was able to appear in several of the group's music videos and live performances.

2014-2016

In March 2014, he participated in the EXILE PERFORMER BATTLE AUDITION but didn't make to the finals as he was eliminated during the training camp. On April 11 in the same year, he was announced as a candidate for EXILE TRIBE's upcoming group THE RAMPAGE. After completing the group's first musha shugyo, Fujiwara was announced as an official member on September 12.

During the group's pre-debut years, there was a time when he was sent back to his hometown to work as a staff member of EXPG Fukuoka. Looking back at his pre-debut time, he later described it as "the hardest" in his career, as he had never experienced so many setbacks since he started dancing.

In 2016, his second year of high school, he moved to Tokyo. Until then, he had been travelling back and forth between his parents' house and Tokyo for his activities.

2017

On January 25, he made his major debut in THE RAMPAGE with the group's first single "Lightning".

In the same year, Fujiwara debuted as an actor in the stage play Attack No.1.

2018

In 2018, he made his on-screen debut in the PRINCE OF LEGEND franchise.

2021

On April 1, he was revealed as a founding member of the parody visual kei band In The BLOOD EYES as its guitarist under the stage name "Crow".

On November 22, he was appointed as the tourism ambassador of his hometown Kitakyushu in Fukuoka Prefecture.

2022

In 2022, he joined the HiGH&LOW franchise as "Himuro Reiji" in the movie HiGH&LOW THE WORST X, for which he passed an internal audition within LDH JAPAN.

On October 20, his first solo photobook titled MYSTERIOUS was released.

2023

In spring 2023, he starred in the stage play Castor & Pollux produced and directed by actor Sato Ryuji.

On October 20, Fujiwara released a jewelry collection in collaboration with the newly established genderless accessory brand Infaction titled "2023 Autumn/Winter Black Pearl Collection" designed by himself. All items were also engraved with original initials designed by himself.

Personal Life

Family

Fujiwara's family owns an insurance company. His father is the president, his mother is the managing director and his sisters work there too. If he hadn't danced, he would have had to take over his parents' business. However, he wasn't forced to take over, and his family supported his dream of becoming an artist. He describes his family as very close.

He is a fraternal triplet alongside two sisters with him being the firstborn of the three, and has a 3rd sister who is 5 years older. According to himself, the siblings have a teasing relationship: "My younger sisters often fight with each other, but I tend to sit on the sidelines and watch (laughs). But basically, we are good friends [...].", "Whenever I have a bit of rough skin or gain weight, the girls in my family give me a hard time (laughs). That may have raised my sense of beauty." He also used to go shopping together with his sisters until they were in high school. In terms of being a triplet, he revealed that the three of them have different personalities and blood types since they are trizygotic, defying the expectations others have of them. "It's not like everyone is thinking the same thing at the same moment as you might expect. [...] I don't feel like I'm a triplet."

• A big cat lover and owns a cat named "Mars" (マース) that is the last child of his mother's first cat. He was on tour when Mars was born, and LDH had a rule that he could live alone after the arena tour, so he brought the cat home after the tour.
  • According to his members, he dedicates everything to his cat in his private life.
• His mother is a certified cat breeder, so his family raises many cats at home. His mother runs an Instagram account for them.
• Described as a quiet, shy and cool person. However, his members note that he has a mischievous side that surfaces around people he is close to. He himself has mentioned several times tough that contrary to his public image, he is not shy and likes to talk to people.
• According to himself, he has a cat-like personality since he follows his own pace and only responds to things that interest him.
  • Additionally, he would rarely get angry and has never yelled at anyone as he rather keeps his emotions inside: "I'm a human being, so I do get frustrated, but I don't show it." For this reason, it also feels uncomfortable and tough for him to show strong emotions (e.g. screaming) while acting.
• Is titled one of the two "Princes" of the group alongside Hasegawa Makoto. They met each other for the first time when they were in elementary school. The two are very close, often go out to eat together, share similar personalities and get along very well. According to both, they can communicate what each other is thinking even if they don't speak, like telepathy, because they think alike. Together the duo is called "Makoitsu" (まこいつ).
• Has a childhood friendship with Urakawa Shohei as they attended EXPG Fukuoka at the same time.
