The label was founded in 1999 by Matsuura Max to address the need for a new urban music label, signing m-flo as its first artist, then followed by EXILE.

KOMA DOGG is a record label and sub-label of LDH Records headed by EXILE SHOKICHI. This project is made up of producers and creator teams and was established in July 2018. The two artists that are currently part of KOMA DOGG, SALU and Sato Kodai, are both from Hokkaido, just like SHOKICHI himself.[1][2]

It is planned to add new artists to KOMA DOGG through the LDH PERFECT AUDITION.[3]
