Endo Tsubasa (遠藤 翼空) is a Japanese singer and performer. He is a member of the group KID PHENOMENON from EXILE TRIBE.
Early Life[]
Endo Tsubasa was born on May 14, 2004 in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. His mother is Filipino.
In his childhood, he started attending EXPG Yokohama.
In December 2020, he was introduced as a student of EXPG Lab.[1]
Career[]
2021-2022[]
From 2021 to 2022, he participated in the boys division of the audition iCON Z ~Dreams For Children~ and was selected as a member of the teams KIDMATIC and CROONERZ during the screening process. Both teams made it to the final screening on May 21, 2022, where they were ultimately eliminated and disbanded.[2]
2022[]
On July 23, at the third concert of BATTLE OF TOKYO TIME 4 Jr.EXILE titled BATTLE OF iCON Z, it was announced that he would participate in the second chapter of LDH's audition iCON Z ~Dreams For Children~ as one of 13 finalists of the first chapter.[3][4][5]
During the audition, the contestants formed three different groups in order to compete for an imminent debut. On the November 13 episode of ~Yume no Audition Variety~ Dreamer Z, it was revealed that Endo was placed in Group 2.[6] On the November 20 episode, it was revealed that the group would be named KID PHENOMENON.[7]
2023[]
On March 26, it was announced that KID PHENOMENON would be making their major debut under Sony Music Associated Records on August 23 along with the other two groups of the audition.[8]
On August 23, Endo will make his major debut as a member of KID PHENOMENON with the release of the group's first single "Wheelie".

- According to himself, he is often called a "weirdo" and makes people laugh. "I'm the kind of guy who makes funny faces when no one is looking and enjoys doing it alone."[12]
- Describes himself as a "clean freak". "I live in a dormitory with other members, and if I come home from work and the house is dirty, I don't feel at ease, so I try to clean up properly even if it is not my own garbage. That is what I was taught by my mother. Keeping my house thoroughly clean is something I value."[13]
- Also in charge of keeping the dorm of the group clean, and scolds the members if they can't keep the shared living spaces tidy.[14]

- Admires model Tominaga Ai and is interested in the beauty industry: "I have respected Tominaga Ai's way of thinking and lifestyle since I became interested in beauty when I was in junior high school. I also love her rebellious spirit and the way of life that led her to become a top model."[12]
- Started studying about makeup in 6th grade of elementary school after he came across YouTube videos of a famous genderless boy named Kondo Yohdi, and was inspired by his way of expressing himself. "I thought it was beautiful, so I started copying him while doing my makeup."[15]
- According to himself, he was the only one in his male friend group to be interested in beauty at that time, and often asked his female cousin for recommendations and exchanged cosmetics with her.[15]
- According to himself, he had a huge complex in his childhood and started doing beauty treatments to fill it, especially once he started being active on social media.[15]
- Eventually, he would like for his skin to be so good to be able to appear in the media without makeup.[15]
- Doesn't wear makeup on a daily basis anymore, but has come to like it as a form of expression, such as art makeup.[15]
