EXTREME BEST is the sixth best album of EXILE. It was released on September 27, 2016 in three editions.

The album celebrates the group's 15th anniversary and it was released on the same day as the group's debut day, compiling the singles and music videos released by the group.

It is their last album to include Matsumoto Toshio, ÜSA and MAKIDAI as performers of the group, as they retired from the position on December 31, 2015.

• This is their first album (not including the box sets and SELECT BEST) since Styles Of Beyond to not peak #1 on Oricon's weekly albums chart.
• The album was certified Platinum by RIAJ for the shipment of 250,000 copies.
• Despite described as an "ultimate best album", all singles and music videos that featured former member SHUN and were not re-recorded up until the release of this album were not included.
  • The songs of the CD's first disc up until "SCREAM" are re-recorded versions with the vocals of member TAKAHIRO. The music videos of the group's earlier songs released prior to "Everything" are also from the re-recorded versions.
• A total of 65 dancers features in the UNITED DANCE NATION in FUNK JUNGLE video, with those including the performers from the group, the performers from Sandaime J Soul Brothers, GENERATIONS and THE RAMPAGE, as well top dancers from Japan and overseas. PKCZ® also appears in the video.
