EXILE B HAPPY is a special EXILE TRIBE unit formed for LDH JAPAN's kids entertainment project KIDS B HAPPY.

The group was revealed on June 1, 2023 and currently consists of six EXILE TRIBE members which were selected by the unit's leader, EXILE TETSUYA.

History

2023

On June 1, it was announced that a new unit, EXILE B HAPPY, was formed for LDH JAPAN's KIDS B HAPPY project, a "kids entertainment project" with the desire to make children smile more, of which EXILE TETSUYA serves as an ambassador. As part of the project, TETSUYA had been conducting an original dance workshop show titled "EXILE TETSUYA with EXPG" for parents and children and giving dance lectures to children at events all over Japan with junior artists from LDH in order to contribute to local communities and promote SDGs through entertainment. The new unit, EXILE B HAPPY, was formed to further enhance the dance workshop show and to support children's dreams throughout Japan through music. In addition to the leader TETSUYA, 6 members including Komori Hayato from GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE, Yoshino Hokuto and Urakawa Shohei from THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE, Kimura Keito and Nakajima Sota from FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE, and one secret member, were revealed to be part of the unit. The other members were decided through discussions between TETSUYA and EXILE HIRO.

On August 12, the unit held its debut live at Chiba Port Arena as one of the projects of "CL 3rd Anniversary CL26 ~Circle of Smiles~", a 26-hour live broadcast on LDH's video platform "CL", performing a medley of EXILE songs and also the unreleased original songs "MORNING SUN" and "BE HAPPY". At the event, the secret seventh member was revealed to be Sekiguchi Mandy. Additionally, it was announced that they would plan to release their first single in fall.

2024

Prior to the release of their debut single "MORNING SUN", the title track was pre-released digitally on January 6, and an event titled EXILE B HAPPY Show ~2024 1st Stage~ was held at Urban Dock LaLaport Toyosu on the same day.

On April 27, they held the event KIDS B HAPPY presents "EXILE B HAPPY SHOW 2024".

On April 30, it was announced that Sekiguchi Mandy would graduate from the unit and depart from LDH JAPAN on June 25, 2024.

On May 5, Children's Day, the unit released their debut single "MORNING SUN".

On August 19, the unit released their first digital single "Guru Guru Dream".
