BACK TO THE MEMORIES is a live stage play by FANTASTICS linked to the program FUN! FUN! FANTASTICS.
The first part of the play was performed in Tokyo and Osaka in April 2021, following the end of the broadcasting period of the show. Performances of hit songs from the 80s and 90s, which are connected to the storyline, are included in the play, combining music and theatrical performances.[1][2]
A footage of the first part of the play was released on Blu-ray on December 22, 2021 as the group's first video release.[3]
The second part of the play was performed in Osaka, Tokyo and Aichi in April 2022, following the end of the broadcasting period of the second season of the show.[4][5][6]
The third part of the play was performed in Tokyo, Osaka, Aichi and Fukuoka starting on August 31, 2023 and ending on September 29, 2023.[7]
A footage of the third part of the play was released on Blu-ray on March 31, 2024 as the group's second video release.[8]
The fourth part of the play was performed in Aichi, Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Fukushima and Nagano starting on September 27, 2024 and ending on October 29, 2024.[9]
Description[]
- Part 1
The story depicts the struggles of a protagonist who realizes his parents are on the verge of a divorce. He asks for help from his friends and comes up with a plan to remind his parents of how they felt at the time they met and fell in love.[2][10]
- Part 2
Junta Matsuda (Yagi Yusei), a 24-year-old medical student, has found someone he likes. The significant other is Kiyoka (Suzuki Anju), who is more than 20 years older than him.
Meanwhile, Kiyoka has a son the same age as Junta. He is Hori Natsuki who is active as a member of FANTASTIC 6.
Hori is upset when he hears about his mother from his uncle Akio (OJIN OSBORN's Shinomiya Akira), a slightly pop Italian chef. He wonders if his mother is being cheated...
Worried, he and his friends (Sawamoto Natsuki, Seguchi Leiya, Kimura Keito, Yagi Yusei (1 person, 2 roles), and Nakajima Sota) call Kiyoka and start talking to her.

In FANTASTIC 6, there is a member whose father is an active soccer player!
The father has always endeavored be active as a soccer player and the mother and the son give support to him...
However, there is "a problem"!
FANTASTIC 6 will solve this problem by all means!

Due to the declaration of emergency by the government and the implementation of emergency measures by Osaka prefecture, the production committee decided to cancel the performance of the stage at COOL JAPAN PARK OSAKA WW Hall from May 2 to May 5, 2021. The stages were rescheduled for July 22 to July 25, with one additional stage added.
The July 25 stages were streamed live on Hulu Store and BARON STREAM.[11]

- On April 6, 2022, it was announced that Sawamoto Natsuki, Kimura Keito and Yagi Yusei had been diagnosed with COVID-19. As a result, the performances scheduled to be held in Tokyo from April 8 to April 14 were cancelled.[12][13][14] On April 13, it was announced that the members were confirmed to have recovered physically, and that the performances would resume on April 15.[15]
- The final 4 performances of the Osaka and Aichi productions were distributed live on several streaming platforms not only in Japan but also overseas. For streaming in Japan, the platforms Hulu, BARON and ZAIKO are available, while worldwide streaming is available only on ZAIKO.[16]
