6 from HiGH&LOW THE WORST is the fifth original TV drama of the HiGH&LOW franchise starring the EXILE TRIBE. It is a spin-off of HiGH&LOW THE WORST focusing on the six childhood friends from the "HOPE HILL Apartment Complex", aired from November 20 to December 25, 2020 and is composed of 6 episodes.
The drama is the third work of the new storyline in the HiGH&LOW series called HiGH&LOW THE WORST, which is a collaboration with Takahashi Hiroshi's "CROWS" and "WORST" manga series and focuses on the story of the students of "Oya High School".
On March 31, 2021, the drama was released on DVD and Blu-ray.
Description[]
The story follows the six childhood friends from the "HOPE HILL Apartment Complex": Hanaoka Fujio (Kawamura Kazuma), Kirihara Seiji (Shirasu Jin), Oochi Shinya (Nakatsuka Yuta), Oochi Masaya (Komori Hayato), Ishii Madoka (Tomita Miu) and Maekawa Arata (Yano Masato). When the six were still in elementary school, for some reason they buried a time capsule in a shrine near their apartment complex and promised to get together again there 10 years later. Ten years have passed, and Fujio decides to dig out the capsule as he remembers their promise.
However, things suddenly change when Sakata Motoaki (Morisaki Win), a boy who grew up in the same "hopeless apartment complex", returns to town and asks for Fujio's whereabouts. Then, tragedy strikes the group of friends when one of them is involved in an accident. The tension rises as the future of the six childhood friends is shrouded in uncertainty.
